The first of its kind in Singapore, I HAVE A ROOM WITH EVERYTHING is a graphic design exhibition featuring some of the best existing as well as out-of-print material.

Free to touch and browse, the exhibition is inspired by the idea of a traveling library filled with a rich assortment of items coming together to illuminate an intimate, personal space.

An array of items ranging from books, magazines, catalogues, zines, mailers and music albums created by the most recognisable names in graphic design will be featured alongside some unfamiliar gems.

Featuring will be items from the personal library of the curator's, amassed over the years from a pure passion and love for all things creative and good. Works by Stefan Sagmeister, Kinetic, Why Not Associates, special edition Amelia, MILK-X and CREAM magazines and limited edition DC Batman comic will be part of a thoughtfully hand-picked selection of 200 printed materials on display.

In addition, AlsoDoMinie —the creative engineering arm of Dominie Press, one of the most cutting-edge and award-winning printers of today— will be presenting part of their extensive portfolio to the public for the very first time. Some of these include: WERK (WORK) and Guerillazines (Comme des Garcons), catalogues from Club 21 and On Pedder, John Clang's limited edition books, and Raking Leaves (London) book projects.

Accompanying the exhibition are talks by Junny of AlsoDoMinie, Yah-Leng Yu of Foreign Policy Design, Yong of Somewhere Else and Jonathan Yuen of Roots conducted for selected students and young graphic designers. The talk is by invitation only.

Held from 16 to 30 July 2011, 12 - 7pm at Night & Day Gallery. Closed on Sunday. Admission is free. Opening Party is on 16th July 7pm at Night & Day Bar.

This exhibition and talk is produced by DO NOT DESIGN, curated by Yanda in collaboration with AlsoDoMinie, supported by Night & Day, Dominie Press and RJ Paper.
